The Scarlet Trefoil Book 3 (Tahn Series) Review
The Scarlet Trefoil
Author: L.A. Kelly
Rating: 5
Synopsis:
Tahn and Netta have pronounced their love for one another and plan to marry. But, the day before their wedding, disaster strikes. Netta is captured and taken while leaving Tahn to blame himself. After getting a message, Tahn is led into a trap and captured too. Their friends rush to their aid but, they have no idea where they are. It is worth reading this book to discover the ending.
WARNING:
Violence is still one of the top warnings. Lots of fighting goes on in this one and some death. Also Tahn is badly hurt at the hand of the bandits. The kidnappers use degrading words towards Netta but don't touch her. Again, I wouldn't suggest for sensitive readers.
My Opinion:
It took me a while to get through this one just because I got attached to the characters and couldn't take anything bad happening to them. The author does a fabulous job of keeping the reader locked in and ready for more. I don't normally cry during movies or books but this one definitely pulled at my heart strings! So, a different book may be more appropriate for a younger teen, but for the older teens who like action, I would totally recommend this book and this series! Signing off for now! Happy reading!
