Tahn Book 1 (Tahn Series) Review
Tahn
Author: L.A. Kelly
Rating: 5
Synopsis:
This book is about an assassin who lives in a very dark world. When he gets an assignment to kidnap a woman who is part of a wealthy family he decides to help her instead. As you continue to read you go through an emotional roller coaster of both lady Netta and the assassin named Tahn. Netta's family are strong Christians and she calls on the Lord to rescue her. Though Tahn reminds her of the man who killed her first husband she has to come to grips that he is for and not against her. When the Lord shows her a hurting man her heart changes and she realizes that he needs the love of the Lord to save him from the darkness that surrounds him.
WARNING:
Beware there is violence in this book so I would not recommend it for young, sensitive readers. However, what I like is that Tahn changes from his early self to a better man, because he finds salvation through God's Word. The book is free of negative, sexual suggestions, a few kisses but nothing inappropriate. There are times that the "bandits", as the author calls them, use demeaning language towards women. Besides that it has good lessons on the importance of staying pure until marriage. It also shows how one person can change our lives for better or worse.
My Opinion:
This book is definitely one of my favorites! It is the first in a series of three and is written by a Christian author. It has helped with my walk with the Lord. I would recommend this for older teens.
