Return to Alastair Book 2 (Tahn Series) Review
Return to Alastair
Author: L.A. Kelly
Rating: 5
Synopsis:
Return to Alastair starts off with Tahn getting restless. He knows that there is something else out there for him to discover about his family. He has always wondered about his past and if he had parents who loved him. As his old home town calls to him from his dreams Tahn decides that it is time that he know the truth of his early memories. As Tahn learns the truth of his parents and why the town turned on him you see the battle of good and evil played out. The Lord fights for a hold in Tahn's heart and the devil fights to drown Tahn in the darkness he has known all his life.
WARNING:
Same as the first book, the warning I would give would be for violence. Tahn relives a lot of horrible events when he goes to Alastair. As for sexual content, the bandits again use demeaning language towards women in the book and mostly toward Tahn's sister. Nothing sexual is carried out, however.
My Opinion:
This is the second book in the Tahn series and if you read the first Tahn book I'm sure you will be hungry for more as I was! This book is just as good as the first and had even more action, which I love! It was hard to see that he was treated so badly but in the end all was made right. The author does leave us on a good note and a hint of what is to come. I would recommend this for older teens.
