A Cousin's Promise Review
A Cousin’s Promise
Author: Wanda E. Brunstetter
Rating: 5
My Opinion:
I could not put this book down! I had to get to the end to see who Loraine picked as her husband. This book keeps you invested, and gives you a glimpse into the Amish lifestyle. Brunstetter is a Christian author, and uses God a lot in her book. It is an amazing book and a must read!
Synopsis:
On a weekend trip to Hershey Park eight cousins, and friends, end up in a car crash that changes their lives forever. Many injuries where reported, and three deaths. Loraine and her cousin Katie where the only ones to come out without an injury. Loraine’s fiancé however, was not so lucky. His leg was amputated above the knee destroying his dreams of being a farmer, and providing for his soon to be wife. After breaking off the engagement Wayne uses Loraine’s ex-boyfriend coming home as proof that she is supposed to be with him. Can God change his heart to see that he is not just half a man without his leg? Will Loraine give her heart to Jake? Will Jake finally stay and join the church? You must read to find out!
WARNING:
There is no violence in this book at all. There is a hurricane that destroys some properties, and the car crash, but other than that no scary events. Language is clean with no sexual content.
