The Amish Nanny Review
The Amish Nanny

My Opinion:
I was skeptical of this book at first, for the title was not very alluring; however, as the chapters rolled on it turned into a book of mystery. Well, technically two mystery’s in one! I came to love the book and didn’t want it to end, but the ending did turn out quite nicely.
Synopsis:
In the book, it is a race against time to try and save an old site from being demolished. Ada Rupp, an Amish woman, is thrown a curve ball when she is told she must travel to Switzerland because of a contract made between her great-great-great-grandpa and his neighbor. This contract was the deed to a piece of land that has a very important historical site on it. It was a cave that the Anabaptist would use to worship during times of persecution. When they cannot find the contract with the agreement it looks like the site will be torn down. On the trip Ada meets Daniel, who is a Mennonite, he takes a liking to Ada and asks to court her. However, Ada already has her sites on a different man. Will they find the contract in time? Will Ada choose Daniel over the love of her life? What will become of this precious piece of land?
WARNING:
This is a very clean book all the way through from language to sexual content. It’s a very safe choice for younger teens.
