Just Between You and Me Book Review
Just Between You and Me
Author: Jenny B. Jones
Rating: 5
My Opinion:
Love, love, LOVE this book! It is very inspirational and teaches a lot of life lessons. This is a Christian author and she includes a lot of important lessons for every Christian or non Christian! This book was very easy to get into and very relatable. The characters were funny and some of the chapters make you think of your own life and experiences.
Synopsis:
Maggie Montgomery has been running from her home town for years. Her job as a cinematographer made that a pretty easy thing to do. She would travel to exotic places, and film while going on crazy adventures. Until one day her phone rings and it’s her father. The two had barely talked in five years for he never treated her well when she was home. When her dad asks her to come home Maggie reluctantly agrees and heads back to the place she has been avoiding all these years. She arrives to find her ten-year-old niece, Riley, left behind by her mother and in the care of her hot-tempered father. Although, around Riley, he’s more of a soft teddy bear. Maggie is then given the dilemma of being just another person to walk out of her nieces life or to give up an amazing job at National Geographic. However, Riley is not the only one she would be leaving behind.
WARNING:
This book is very clean. The only warning I would give is that there is a lot of kissing in this book.
