The Engagement Plot Review
The Engagement Plot
Author: Krista Phillips
Rating: 4
My Opinion
I have not read anything by Krista Phillips, but I was impressed by her writing. I found this to be an entertaining story of two people who are in denial of their love for each other. It is these kinds of stories that make the reader agitated because you know what the characters are thinking, but they will not tell the other person. Hannah and William will take you on a fun ride of emotions if you choose to read The Engagement Plot.
Synopsis
Hanna is a normal teacher who signs up for a reality TV show called The Price of Love. In the beginning, she was not expecting anything, so when she made it to the final round it shocked everyone. In the last episode, William picks Hanna to become his wife and all is well until William makes the biggest mistake of his life that costs Hanna to walk away. In an attempt to fix both of their reputations, they have to pick up their broken hearts and join together to convince the world that they are okay. The two pretend to be engaged in hopes that people will come to forget about the mistakes the two made but as they find themselves spending more time together they realize that they never stopped caring for each other.
WARNING
I would like to warn you that there are a couple of kisses in this book that last longer than appropriate and there are a few times when they make out as well. I found it sketchy that Will goes to Hanna's room at night to talk, but nothing inappropriate happens. I would suggest this book for older teens and adults.
