True to You (A BRADFORD SISTERS ROMANCE) Review
True to You
Author: Becky Wade
Rating: 5
My Opinion:
True to You is a sequel to the book Falling for You; however, you do not need to read them in a certain order. I fell in love with Willow Bradford, who is the main character of Falling for You, so it made since that I fell in love with her younger sister Nora as well. I found that I related to Nora a lot more than Willow because I have no clue what it's like to be a model. Nora has many insecurities and likes things old school hinting her job as a genealogist and historical village owner. Her insecurities help to create her personality and lovable character also I found her love for cheesy TV shows endearing.
Synopsis:
Nora Bradford is the middle child in a family of three girls and cannot help but compare herself to her older and younger sisters. She believes that she is not beautiful like them, so she works hard on her personality instead. Though this does not mean that she doesn't love romance, but Nora has decided that work is a lot safer. When Nora meets John Lawson, a former Navy SEAL, she begins to believe in love at first sight. John, on the other hand, finds Nora old school and a little weird, unlike his current girlfriend. When John finds out that he has an inherited condition, he enlists the help of Nora to help find out who his real parents are.
WARNING:
This book truly played with my emotions as I learned many crazy things about Nora's and John's families. I do not want to spoil too much, but there are stories of rape and death. There are also some heated kisses, but otherwise, the book is clean.
